| C-LEVER® direct |
 |
| Description |
C-LEVER® direct – the clever measurement system for Bulk and Solids
Do you require one measurement system for all your flowing bulk and solids requirements like sugar, coffee, cereals, spicery, plastic-recyclings, pellets?
The C-LEVER® direct achieves an optimum accuracy – regardless of density, friction, particle and flow rate.
Compared with other bulk measurement systems the C-LEVER® direct measures without mechanical moving parts and offers with up to +/-0.2% of the volumetric range with a turn-down ration of 5:1 the most accurate weighing of your bulk materials.
Through the unit windows the bulk materials are easily viewed. An exhaust air cleaning system is may also be retrofitted. The wide-opening doors of the C-LEVER® direct permits easy cleaning in case of product change, such as colour pigments or other problematic materials.
The modular construction of the C-LEVER® direct offers the possibility to modify the device should customer requirements change.
The multiple options for C-LEVER® direct give greater flexibility in designing the equipment for your specific application(s).

 |
| Description |
Maximum Explosion Protection for Conveyor Systems with Minimum Investment
The refined concept of the ElevatorEX® II for bucket elevators, drag conveyors and transportation systems distinguishes itself by combining a variety of different proven features.
Critical components on the elevators foot and head are protected by maintenance-free relief devices such as Q-Box II or bursting discs; Infrared detectors sense possible ingress of flame into the elevator shafts, feed openings or discharge chutes. Extinguishing barriers are activated within milliseconds at precise fixed points.
Plant downtime is minimized while maximizing protection of the conveyer from disastrous dust explosion consequences with the minimum of investment.
The ElevatorEX® II is the only globally certified protection system for conveyor systems.

| Description |
Explosion protection and entire plant availability with EX-GO-VENT burst panels
In plants producing organic products there are permanently originated considerable quantities of fine dust. In the beginning those fine dusts are only combustible material. However, enriched with oxygen this combustible materials become highly explosive mixtures. If then an ignition source takes fires this often results in enormous damages for men and machines.
Acc. to ATEX directive 94/9/EG operating companies are obliged to realise actions of primary explosion protection in order to reduce the risk of a dust explosion. However, the reality looks different. The probability of the dust explosion risk is reduced but not completely eliminated. That means: complying with the primary explosion protection the risk of dust explosion per plant is statistically lower but the dust explosion risk itself still exists.
Considering this risk potential ATEX strongly requests additional constructive explosion protection in plants operating with organic fine dusts. Due to the statistical lower risk of dust explosion hazard the passive constructive explosion protection by explosion venting with burst panels provides the ideal alternative. If a dust explosion occurs the explosion pressure is reduced to a harmless level within in the plant. Acc. to ATEX directive 94/9/EG these burst panels must be approved.
During running production process these burst panels must resist operation conditions, e. g. pulsations, change in temperature, erosion. Under consideration of the operating conditions burst panels must not fail by material fatigue too early – logically with cost intensive plant shutdown.
EX-GO-VENT burst panels (approved acc. to FSA 04 ATEX 1538X) distinguish themselves by bionic structures which take account of the above mentioned operating conditions. This unique and patented design guarantees durability towards any influence of operation conditions. Plant manufacturers and operating companies as well prefer installation of EX-GO-VENT burst panels due to their outstanding long lifetime.
MDF production plants are typical for application of EX-GO-VENT burst panels. Fine dust producing two-stage-dryers and cyclones are equipped with burst panels worldwide. Especially MDF plants with their three-shift-operation have to consider severe operation conditions like pulsations, change in temperature, erosion. Conventional burst panels fail by material fatigue again and again – as manufactures and operators continuously experience. As a result the manufacturers suffer from expensive warranty payments and adverse publicity and the plant operator from expensive and annoying plant shutdowns. This all would have been avoided by using EX-GO-VENT burst panels.
Many MDF operators subsequently exchange the conventional burst panels in use installing EX-GO-VENT burst panels. They benefit from a safe, undisturbed production.
The flat rectangular EX-GO-VENT burst panel provides a wide range of applications. This flat, single layer explosion panel has a perfect venting efficiency due to its low specific weight. Incorporated bionic structures guarantee an extraordinary stability in order to suit most standard applications. Due to its patented concept of combined gasket and breaking point configuration control of the clamping torque of screws is no longer necessary – compared with similar competitor constructions.

| Description |
Flame reduced explosion venting for indoor and outdoor applications
The Q-Box is the result of innovative REMBE® safety research and development.
The new protection concept provides flame reduced venting of dust explosions. Industrial plants with low strength and the demand for large venting areas are protected safely and economically - flame propagation and heat are absorbed. The Q-Box allows operators to position machines and equipment acc. to process requirements. It is a cost-saving and flexible venting system for indoor- and outdoor applications.

| REMBE® Q-Rohr®-3 |
 |
| Description |
Flameless indoor explosion venting
The REMBE® Q-Rohr®-3 guarantees the indoor explosion venting without any flame and dust propagation.
The Q-Rohr®-3 is maintenance-free, that means it does not cause any operational costs. Therefore this system is more economical compared with active suppression systems. Even OEMs consider the simplified and cost-saving Q-Rohr®-3 for the installation of new plants. Optimised processes ensure efficient production.
Proven safety for any equipment location
The Q-Rohr®-3 consists of an integrated REMBE® bursting disc which vents the explosion wave in a controlled manner into the Q-Rohr®-3. Flame gases with temperatures higher than 1,500°C (2,732°F) are cooled down to less than 90°C (195°F) via energy transfer within the special stainless steel mesh filter inlet. This leads to a reduction of the expanding gas volume as it extinguishes the flame. Additionally, the pressure rise and high noise level associated with a free vented explosion are reduced to negligible levels. The specially developed stainless steel mesh filter guarantees that no burned or unburned dust passes off the Q-Rohr®-3. The Q-Rohr®-3 is reusable immediately after cleaning.
The Q-Rohr®-3 system is the only indoor explosion device recognized worldwide by NFPA68 and accepted also by VDI-3673 and prEN 14797.
